Paulina is a Doctor of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, she works clinically with patients and she is also an active academic and researcher. Paulina qualified as a physiotherapist in 2009 in Poland. She immediately started working with amateur athletes (including Polish Wheelchair Rugby team) and shortly after started her MSc degree, which she graduated from in 2011. Her passion for science and sports related injuries led her to commence a full-time PhD at the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), where she investigated the biomechanical signatures of groin pain in athletes. After her PhD, she continued her research by working as a post-doctoral researcher on a prestigious InnovateUK grant. Alongside her clinical career, she works as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy Education at King’s College London, where she teaches new generations of physiotherapists and continues her research activity - in biomechanics and women’s sport.
Paulina is a very experienced clinician with a passion for complex cases and high functioning patients - one of her specialities is in women’s health. She puts each patient at the centre of the treatment process, she has a unique understanding of a woman’s health, which results in achieving the patient's goals while creating a safe and friendly environment.
If not in clinic or in lecture theatre, you will find Paulina in the gym lifting weights, or sailing around the Greek Islands!
